Plans for New York

Finally got a New York guide book for Christmas, so at least i'm able to start looking at places I want to visit. I got given the 'Rough Guides' version, which so far has been really interesting to read. I fancy trying to see a show and perhaps some gigs while I'm there, to see what the New York music scene is like in comparison to home.

I checked out the hotel online yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! The Walcott looks lovely and vintage but with nice clean rooms. Also from my very poor geographical knowledge of New York we seem to be right in the middle of Manhattan.
